What diet to take during the vitiligo problem?


Vitiligo is the problem in which the cells (melanocytes) make the skin pigment gets destroyed which forms white patches on the skin. The exact reason is not known but it is thought to be an autoimmune disease. Well, along with white patch treatment, it is important that the patient should follow a proper diet.

Vitiligo doctor recommends some of the food items to not consume which are mentioned below:
Curd, Tamarind
Raw Tomato
Raw Onion, Raw garlic
Papaya,
Green chili, Pickles
Citrus fruits & Citrus fruit items
Juices like oranges, lemon, and grapes
Along with that the intake of spicy, oily, and non-vegetarian food should be lowered. Milk and milk product intake should be less. On a regular basis reduce the intake of chocolates, coffee, cocoa powder, tinned food, junk food, soda bicarb, or stored sour things.
It is best that you increase the intake of radish, chickpeas, carrots, jaggery, dates, and green leaves. While making the food add turmeric and ginger in the food as they work and natural antiseptic. It would be best if you keep your diet salt free. Vitiligo patients should intake lots of os nuts as they rick in special fats and Vitamin E.
